The Progress Drum Type Car Puller is
designed to facilitate movement of railway hopper cars to the chip loading system at chip
mills and saw mills The Car Puller comes
complete with a 10 HP, 1800 RPM, ODP Motor (20 HP model also available) with 1" wire
rope, 6-19 wire strands of plough steel. It has a capacity to handle 5 empty cars
and 5 loaded hopper cars at 85 tons gross weight each, on 0 degree grade, 0 degree
curvature with approximately 570 feet of rope, complete with one hook and 2 HP retrieving
motor. |
